Where will most of the events be held?
Most events including workshops will be held on the campus of University of Maryland, College Park, MD.
Will there be transportation to and from the hotels?
Shuttle service will be available from the host hotels to the University of Maryland Campus.
Will complimentary wireless internet be available on campus?
The University of College Park does not provide complimentary wireless internet. You can purchase a wireless connection that will be active July 25-29 when you register for the AAPT Summer Meeting. The cost of the wireless connection is $20 if you purchase the connection before July 8. Any purchases made after July 8 will be $30. Wireless service cannot be purchased by the day.
Is there funding available to attend the Summer Meeting?
There are limited funds (awards range from $200 to $1200 with a total of $2,500 for all awards) to help AAPT members attend the 2015 AAPT Summer Meeting in College Park to make a presentation. Click here for more information and a link to the application.
