Timothy F Credo Illinois Math & Science, Aurora, IL Senior Hobbies Clubs Experience Biography Over the past three years, I continued to take physic courses and developed an appreciation for the fun in physics and math. While I think studying is important, I think the most important part of education is a constant search for new exciting ideas. To me, the best part of physics is the many diverse fields. During my junior year, I had a chance to work with Professor Yau Wah at the University of Chicago. The experience opened my eyes to the wider world of research and the opportunities for student to be involved in science. I continued working at the University of Chicago with Professor Henry Frisch over the summer and into my senior year. Last October, I traveled to Rome to present research at the 2004 Nuclear Science Symposium. While attending the conference, I got a sense of how important community is in science, of how significant it is to have a large group of people spread across the globe all working together and sharing ideas. During last year’s camp, I was excited to meet the other team members and have the opportunity to enjoy a week working with them. This year I look forward to another great time at the University of Maryland.
