Opportunities Take Time to Play AAPT knows that building professional relationships is an important part of your membership experience. The three following events at our National Summer Meeting are designed to promote camaraderie and friendships that will last a lifetime.
The First-Timers meeting lets you mingle with other 'newbies' and get tips from meeting veterans. (This meeting always gets high marks from 1st time attendees.)
Our annual picnic always generates a happy mix of family, food, and physics fun. This year's musical Picnic Extravaganza entertainment features the "Out-Laws of Physics". Following the picnic, members will tour the PASCO plant and watch a fantastic outdoor demo show. Reserve your tickets when you register.
Watch the San Francisco Giants play the St. Louis Cardinals at PacBell Park in San Francisco. AAPT's Baseball Night Out includes a tailgate party plus a guided tour of the stadium. Limited space available, so register early. |
