Take a moment to look into all of AAPT's awards and recognition programs for you and your students, there are some recognition programs that are perfect for the end of the school year.

The online resources that are available to AAPT members keep growing and growing. In this newsletter, we mention new websites that address the specific needs of high school physics teachers as well as instructors of quantum and modern physics.

Lastly, there is information in the newsletter about our newest local chapter. Here are some hints about what state it is in: (1) it was purchased from Russia in 1867, and (2) it entered the Union on January 3, 1959, as our 49th state!
