Committee Homepage Linking Policies
Each AAPT Area Committee is listed within AAPT's Organizational Directory on the AAPT website. The Committee pages include a directory of Commitee Members, the Committee's mission, links to the most recent Annual Report and Review Board Comments, and a link, if available, to the Committee's own homepage.
Any updates/corrections to the Committee information on the AAPT homepage needs to go through the AAPT Member Services Department. This is to ensure that all AAPT committee documents are updated.
All requests to establish a link from the Committee Directory page to the Committee's own website must be sent to the AAPT Web Services Manager. In order for a link to be established from the AAPT homepage to a Committee homepage, the following must be included on the Committee page:
- Clear identification of the Committee on the homepage
- A reciprocating link back to the AAPT homepage: www.aapt.org.
- A point of contact for Committee information on the homepage
- The URL of the Committee homepage
A committee representative with the Committee Chair's approval must send information about the Committee's homepage to the Web Services Manager.
