2014 Summer Meeting

Hello,

The 2014 AAPT Summer meeting will be held at the University of Minnesota with the Commons Hotel and the Marriott Courtyard Minneapolis Downtown serving as the conference hotels.

Teaching Physics is fun.  We have such great toys, talk about very neat stuff, and work with some really wonderful colleagues.  And most of all, it is fun when the students finally “get it.”  Please consider sharing your most enjoyable demo, lab, app, simulation, or lecture tidbit and join us in Minneapolis to celebrate “The Fun of Teaching Physics.”  The University of Minnesota will be a great on-campus venue, with workshops and sessions being held in university buildings.  The 2014 Summer Meeting is a time to meet with old friends and make new ones.  Plan to spend some extra time attending the PTRA pre-conference or the post-meeting PERC — or just take a break at one of Minnesota’s many lakes.
