Celebrating 40 Years

PTRA Bootcamp Applications Will Reopen Soon

Thank you for your interest in the AAPT Physics Teaching Resource Agents (PTRA) Bootcamp program.

The current application cycle has closed, but we are already preparing for the next cohort of physics educators ready to grow as teacher leaders and professional development facilitators.

The PTRA Bootcamp is an intensive professional learning experience designed for educators who want to expand their impact beyond their own classrooms. Participants collaborate with experienced PTRAs and colleagues from across the country to develop leadership skills, facilitate professional development, and strengthen the physics teaching community.

In the meantime, we encourage you to:

  • Explore the many resources available through the PTRA community
  • Attend an AAPT meeting or workshop
  • Connect with fellow physics educators through AAPT communities
  • Continue building your leadership and facilitation skills in your local area

To learn more about the PTRA program and upcoming opportunities, visit:

Please check back for future Bootcamp announcements and application dates. We look forward to welcoming the next generation of physics teacher leaders.
