Chesapeake Section Public Lecture

A free public lecture hosted by the Chesapeake Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers, and presents Nobel prize laureate Dr. John Mather from NASA. Dr. Mather led the science teams for the cosmic background explorer satellite and for the James Webb Space Telescope. He will describe his personal journey in science and will tell us how our universe evolved, how galaxies, stars, and planets form, and what to expect in the next frontiers of astronomical observatories.
